As ever I was 100% satisfied by my experience at the surgery today. I am just appalled by the negativity of many of these comments! So much entitlement going on! This is a free service with frontline staff doing their very best in increasingly difficult circumstances. Bottom line is the NHS is far from perfect but we are still very lucky to have it! Yes those of us who pay taxes, National insurance etc are contribution to the cost but most of us are getting a considerably more than we’ve paid for! Try being nice to the receptionists. Maybe take a book or crossword puzzle or whatever. You are probably having to wait because health care professionals are trying to best they possibly can for patients ahead of you. Undoubtedly that is what you expect. Failing that, go private which in our experience isn’t necessarily perfect either. You may be surprised to find how little you get for your money! So a huge thankyou to all staff at the surgery. We have been with you for many years( originally at Springfield Road). You have served us very well! Keep up the good work! | ||||||

Had a text to make appointment to see Samira for healthcheck. Rang at 4.30 this afternoon and was 19th in queue so hung up. Rang a few weeks ago, after receiving text to ask me to make appointment to discuss the results of recent tests, at 8am to be 17th in queue so hung up. Rang again at 8.10am to be again in a queue but held on to be told appointments all gone. Next appointment they could give me was 1 month on. Not good enough. Not supposed to go into surgery to make appointment so need more staff on phones if they are going to be so uncontactable. Bushloe much better system. Friend had 5th jab already (at Bushloe surgery) whilst Central Not giving COVID jabs or flu jabs. | ||||||

I tried to get a repeat prescription through the app. It informed me I needed a review. This I asked for online. After a couple of days I looked at the app to see I could get a repeat but not for another 20 days. I rang the surgery wasting my time and theirs,to be told it had been sent to the pharmacy. Their reaction was that I should have rang the pharmacy because the couldn't contact everyone although they can contact everyone for the review. They insist on having my phone number,email and home address but are unable to send a simple text. | ||||||
