I joined this surgery following a move from Nottingham. The surgery in Nottingham was excellent and I felt really looked after with regular check ups, consultation with my doctor and nurses was open and I felt like I was listened to. Comparing this with the Glenfield surgery is unbelievable. Check ups are few and far between, doctors change my prescriptions without notifying me and I feel like I am of no concern to them. I am looking to find a different surgery in order to get better treatment. |

Called the Surgery just before 6pm a fortnight ago. I knew I needed antibiotics for a recurring problem. Receptionist very understanding (surgery was about to close). GP called me back within 3 minutes and a prescription was available within the hour from the adjoining Pharmacy. How's that for service from this excellent Surgery. !! |

Asked for a doctor’s Appointment-was told no. Could only see a nurse practitioner and If they felt I needed a doctor they would call one in. Why can’t I see a doctor if I want to? Another time took my 2 year old son in to the reception as he was not well, fever, cough, lethargic-receptionist said they were fully booked and told me to go to the walk in centre! Shocking disregard for an unwell child. Wrong information being given by nurse practitioners who don’t even appear to know basic guidelines and one particular rude doctor who needs some training in his bedside manner. They need to improve communication skills, improve triage system and increase the care they show to patients |
