    The two receptionist st the surgery are really helpful, they have plenty appointments on the day, also they offer a call back from the emergency Doctor if no on the day appointments, the new nurse is really caring too, really good with my children.

    I struggle every time when I need any appointment but getting a female doctor is like finding gold a lot or every time I go and ask for an appointment the receptionist says ring tomorrow. It costs me a lot.I have rang and rang kept on hold for over 20 minutes. Not happy at all.

    Dear Patient Many thanks for your valuble comment. I apologise for the difficulties you have experienced. The Practice now has 4 female Doctors working accross both sites. Dr Wadhwa , Dr Daud. Dr Deore and Dr Premaratne (Trainee Registrars) You are able to book an appointment with these Doctors at Melbourne Street and Hilltop Surgery. All routine appointments are bookable 2 weeks in advance. However we do offer EMERGENCY on the day appointments and if they are all booked up we offer telephone triage with the on call Doctor. All telephones calls are monitored and answered in a timely manner , however the Practice deals with a high volume of calls and I apologise that you were kept on hold over 20 minutes. You can also ring the Hilltop Surgery on 0116 2769555 to book an appointment at either sites. If you any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me at the Hilltop Surgery.
