i suffer with mental health problems, depression, anxiety and personality disorder. Ive had several bereavements in the last few months and have relapsed into my depression in a bad way. When i have visited the practice ive walked home feeling like im stuck between a rock and a hard place, ever more isolated and frustrated.. not feeling ive received the help ive needed. Through frustration and confusion, i admit i have maladaptively turned to drink on occasions a couple of which i have taken my frustrations out at the surgery for which i have receieved a couple of letters, the last saying that i have to leave the surgery. However i do feel this to be rather punitive as i recognise this to be my condition worsening and me not getting the help i deserve fast enough even though ive expressed it very clearly and patiently for a long while. I would have expected, especially as they had to call an ambulance to the surgery for me due to my condition, they could have been more empathic and understanding, trying to forward my appointment to the mental health services. 3 clinicians at the hospital have given me 3 different diagnosis contradicting one another and the surgery hasnt helped me to get to the bottom of it. This was from a diagnosis i first recieved from a consultant psychiatrist in 2010. This has also led to my frustration and confusion. I feel that if the practice doctors rather than be so sensitive as to be too concerned about themselves getting upset at the way i presented myself and had more insight and understanding of personality disorders, i may have got the help i so needed before they had to wipe their hands off me and send a request to the primary care to have me removed from the practice. I have apologised profusely to a few of the staff as i had felt terrible but i truly know i found it very difficult to help myself given my condition and what was going on in my head at the time i was attending in an emergency. If you cant turn and express yourself due to your mental capacity and you dont understand what you are doing i do not feel i should be punished for it but rather helped. | ||||||

Have been on the practice’s panel of patients for over years and have received stunning care for both my late wife who had a chronic difficult condition and myself who has has sporadic minor conditions. Sympathetic, human, knowledgeable. They try their very best to give a high level service and I can’t recall a single failure and I am a champ at criticising and complaining.
It is a moderately large practice so it can offer a wide range of services and facilities | ||||||

I would just like to commend the help I have received from the head sister nurse.
Her knowledge and bedside manner in treating my wound has been outstanding.
