Managed to get an appointment in March 2019 to see a doctor about ongoing issues. Doctor said I should be referred to see a consultant; have a scan and cease taking medication that I was having problems with and he would look into alternative treatments. Haven't heard a thing even though I have written requests for an update when submitting paper request for repeat prescription and have spoken to receptionists. I am in pain, tired and struggling. Some clinicians at the surgery make you feel like you are a nuisance. I moved house 10 years ago and unfortunately had to move to this surgery. Not fit for purpose in my opinion. |

Whenever I have telephoned the surgery the receptionist fail to give their name, with only one exception, I was telephoned by a receptionist on my landline telephone number, and asked to telephone the surgery, but again the receptionist failed to leave her name. I duly returned the call, and the receptionist who answered the call failed to give her name!!! I was asked, "Who called you"? I replied "I don't know they didn't lleave a name." I was then asked," what were they ringing me about". I replied "I don't know they didn't say" How ridiculous does that sound?
I still do not know who called me or why. Perhaps it can be seen that it is important to leave a name, and to give a name when answering a call should the need arise where a return call is requested, it might have been important, but since no-one knew who had called , it might have been serious or maybe not,. Whilst of itself, it might not seem that important, it is especially when being requested to call the surgery, and where no reason is given, and no name for reference. In this day and age in "customer service" companies, receptionists and others usually give a name. perhaps this could be a practice adopted here..

I am a carer for Mrs ### 88years old she is deaf and partially blind, I rang a mental crises health team on the 23rd June 2022 they prescribed her promethazine 2 x 10ml a day, the chemist have always delivered her medication and sometimes the pharmacy left it in the porch way sometimes they didn't and i would have to go pick it up, due to Mrs### mental health concern and her express that she wanted to die, I hid her medications and consulted the pharmacy on the 24th of june that under no circumstances must they deliver her medication and i will collect it, however over the weekend there was slips left though the door saying they had tried to deliver, i issued a complaint and the manager assured me it would not happen again, now the chemist and the doctors (Dr Singha) Cromwell practice have now said they cannot issue Mrs ###prescription of promethazine on a regular basis and despite me asking them which I have phone record off, for a repeat prescription for me to collect they have missed prescription off promethazine and have said they cannot issue it on a regular basis, despite the MHT issuing her it, the chemist say its up to Mrs### to order which she cannot, and she is classed as vulnerable all her medication should be on repeat ready for me to collect now she is left with no medication on a second occasion as its 2 times now they have left her without I have had to ring gp out of hours to prescribe her it, the withdrawal symptoms coming of anxiety medication is dreadful and i feel this is neglect against an 88 year old deaf and partially blind ladie who is suspected with onset demtia and has severe anxiety disorder, it was also under thier duty of care to ensure no delivery's went out to Mrs ###when I flagged up mental health issues, the pharmacy say the doctor should order it on repeat and the doctors say that the pharmacy are responsible for ordering this as she is a vulnerable person, the pharmacy say they cannot order the promethazine every 5 days its not possible and its not possible for a months worth to be prescribed so what is Mrs ###meant to do, her health will decline rapidly without this medication I am very disappointed please can somebody please assist me with the problems I am having I can see a huge deficit with areas of deprivation struggling to get the healthcare and medication they need, While my clients that are in areas of a good financial statue have no problems with healthcare or prescriptions, i feel this is discrimination, Complaint put through to safeguarding on the 12 July 2022 To the mental health team and to doctors and the pharmaceutical Council, incompetent to ensure an elderly ladie of 88 has her medication, |
