Unhelpful admin staff and a practice manager who doesn't know how to spell compassion or understanding. Their sole purpose seems to be to deflect attempts at urgent access to a GP when it is most needed. I have been refused attention on several instances involving ongoing severely high blood pressure problems, for the reason that all of the day's appointments were taken. On another occasion I was refused attention for cellulitis, even after the pharmacist called the surgery to request a doctor to examine me, resulting in me having to go to a drop-in centre during the Covid lock-down period (I am classed as At Risk because of my age and heart condition), where, after a 2 hour wait in a crowded waiting room, I was indeed, diagnosed with cellulitis, and given antibiotics for it. While I am aware of the present pressures on GP practices, I find it unacceptable that someone with potentially life-threatening symptoms can be turned away for no better reason that there are no available appointments. |

Generally a good surgery. It is relatively easy to get an appointment. The doctors are good although I prefer an appointment with two particular doctors. The big problem is there are no female doctors and this should be rectified. |

I couldn’t recommend this practice enough. The staff are all lovely on the front desk and all doctors and nurses go out of their way to ensure you receive the best care possible. After being away from the surgery for over 15 years it was lovely to find one of the same doctors still working there. 10/10 |
