Well what can I say. Rang Monday for a prescription, rang later same day to see if outcome to be told doctor wanted me to come in and I was I informed to ring next morning at 8 to make an appointment. As I have just come out of hospital and not even 50% better I rang this morning finaly got through at 8.50 to be told to ring tomorrow at 8am by a quite abrupt receptionist whome just cut me off before I could explain. Brilliant service. |

I am currently in the first stages of the adoption process. I am a couple in a same sex marriage and I have today visited the GP as part of the medical check. The GP was extremely rude and did not care throughout the entire process. As soon as I walked in, he asked why someone with no medical issues would adopt. I explained that I was part of a same sex couple and adoption is my preferred method rather than surrogacy. He then proceeded to ask if I had made the adoption company 'aware' that I was part of a same sex relationship. This has left me completely furious and all I will say is that I am glad that they are more understanding than the GP I visited today. On a section labelled 'any other issues with adoption' he wrote 'no and you've already declared your sexuality' as if this would be an issue during the process. Unbelievable. To top it off, he made up my BP without using the correct method. An official complaint is currently being made in writing as I expect the conduct of the GP to be investigated. Absolute disgrace and in all my years I have never felt as angry and upset as I am now and I am arranging for a transfer to another GP surgery that hopefully deals with their patients with respect. |

I have recently moved to Murton, the care I have received has been great, I’ve only had one instance with a doctor, but other than that, the experience has been great, only one little issue I have is how hard it is to get an appointment with some doctors, although that cannot be helped! Overall, it’s a great surgery and they have helped me with a lot! |
