Awful service.impossible to get in for an appointment have to wait nearly two weeks to see a doctor. One nurse practitioner who is awful doesn't like to actually help people find them off with a medication that does nothing but let's things get worse.Cant book appointments two weeks in advance due to nature of job take a week off so I can try and get an appointment to be told none available till a week on Thursday .This is a joke.Unhelpful it's ok if your on benefits do not t work can sit around and do nothing even better if you can plan your illness in advance to get an appointment when needed .And they wonder why A&E departments get busy Reply from The Green House Surgery Mon, 19 Aug 2019 11:07:05 +0100 We are sorry that you are dissatisfied at the service you have received from us. Upon checking our appointments availability, the first available appointment with a Nurse Practitioner is Thursday 22nd August (four working days) and the first available appointment with a GP is Thursday 29th August ( eight working days). Naturally, we would prefer to see patients sooner, however, we are particularly busy at present. Please rest assured that we see patients as quickly as possible, within the resources available to us. Nationally, GP services are under pressure and recent data shows that the average waiting time to see a GP has now exceeded two weeks. We do have a duty doctor available by telephone each day. This service is for urgent matters that will not wait until the next routine appointment. If you feel that this applies to you, please telephone reception and ask for a telephone appointment with the duty doctor. |
