I visited Acerswood surgery today 15th April 2019 at 12.30. A change over was taking place on reception. Well a lovely, helpful, happy lady took over and I have to say she made my day. I came back for my prescription at 5pm and once again she couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely lady! |

Have been at a patient at this practice for a number of years, drs and nurses work very hard and I have no complaints about them. Reception staff especially the ones who think they know more than me of my medical condition are patronising and down right rude. On a number of occasions I have visited the practice and heard them discussing and calling other patients and they seem to take great pride in telling patients they can’t have a appointment or there prescription isn’t ready! Reception staff need to realise that we all have ears in the waiting room and that perhaps keeping there opinions to themselves is best. I don’t no if they do “doctors receptionists” courses as these receptionists definitely need it!!! |

I've been with this practice for several years but only recently really needed them. I've found the admin staff unhelpful, unsympathetic (bar one) and on one occasion downright rude. They have failed to pass on information, not supplied information within timelines and when approached were offhand and patronising. They have no concept of urgency and left me in limbo for weeks. If I could change surgeries I wouldnt hesitate. |
