The Practice Charter here is a joke. After being 71st at ,8am phone queue. Was told no phone or face to face appointments in near future. Apparently, kidney infection isn't an emergency. Thank goodness for walk ins. I've only managed about 3 appointments in 3 years to see GP. Having cancer also isn't an emergency. Also, the surgery policy is even if there are no appointments, you are not informed. Only when you get through to service, after an hour, to tell you fully booked. If you happen to walk into the surgery any day, there is never more than two patients in waiting room. | ||||||

Service is awful can never get a face to face appointment and am always fobbed off to the 7 day GP in Birkdale (who are way better). The one time I get a face to face at Churchtown I was gaslighted and laughed at by the doctor. | ||||||

Impossible to get an appointment. I have a friend who interacts on a professional level with this practice and she was told a few weeks ago that they only have 1 doctor and he was on holiday. How can they get away with this? It states on the NHS website that they have 4 doctors and they are open from 8.00-6.30 Mon to Friday. This is an NHS practice that sounds like it has been taken over by a private company. I don’t understand how they are getting away with such poor service. They must have a contract to fulfil? No amount of complaints seems to make a difference. How do they get away with it? | ||||||
