Contacting a Doctor was an uphill struggle made totally impossible with one receptionist,(by the way whilst I was there they had one receptionist a young male who took it on himself to tell patients what treatment they should have) ,once you got through to a doctor their was a lack of listening to the patient,very much a case of this medicine may not agree with you but its what we prescribed so keep on with it, or we dont want to know. Upon making a complaint I was shouted at by the practice manager loudly enough for someone 5 metres away to shout a reply to her and then she moaned at me for raising my voice. The answer to a complaint is then find another practice they are all as bad as us. | ||||||

Been a Patient here since i was a kid when i first went they was a fast and smooth running doctors,the doctors and nurses always listened and had the time for you and put your needs first,now over the years slowly little cracks started to show and now it's terrible most of the old staff have left only 3 or 4 decent ones left in the field the new staff i.e the front desk are rude,short tempered and speak to you like crap never sort out your problem on the day.. it really has gone down hill you can't even get a prescription right and on the correct day nor can you sort the most basic request you claim you are busy utter nonsense i've been in there and it's empty every time i have come from morning to even afternoon the staff on the front just sit there and please don't give me the i'm sorry talk because that never solves nothing how about training your front staff and them actual do there jobs i also find it rude them asking what my problem is since when did the front desk become dr or nurse that is between me and the the qualified member i ask for not your receptionist would i recommend this surgery one time yes i would have,now heck no rather see a veterinarian as i would be better treated.... | ||||||

I contacted the practice to ask for a n appointment at dinner time and yet again no appointments or triage appointments , I was told to go to the main hospital , I explained my daughter has tested positive and is isolating and she is there patient so they can access her positive test and I shouldn’t be being told to go to a main hospital with them knowing I have a family member in my house that’s positive , she went and checked with another member of staff and I was still told to go to the hospital I was so shocked to be told that as I could of easily spreaded the virus to others not an answer you would expect from a doctors , I have been with the doctors for over 24 years and it used to be brilliant but now you can’t get an appointment at all , I can visit everywhere else now but my doctors , other family members are with other doctors in the area and have not had this issue for the past few months Brookvale seem to be using covid as a excuse not to see the patients or are extremely short staffed , I have since changed my doctors to another practice which is a shame as years ago they used to be brilliant but got the past few years it’s gone shocking | ||||||
