I’ve been at the surgery for around 18 years. Never had any issues with my doctor, he’s always helpful, ready to listen and makes you feel comfortable. The nurse practitioner had always been lovely and the community midwife is amazing, I’ve had all of my children with her as my midwife. The reception staff on the other hand, one can be rude and condescending to patients, I’ve witnessed this more times than I can remember and don’t think it’s appropriate for her to deal with patients day to day if she’s going to treat them that way. I’m contrast one female on reception had always been pleasant and helpful.
Despite these issues I will be a patient here for a long time as appointments are easy to get online and I like the dr. | ||||||

I registered with this surgery about 4/5 months ago after my old practice of over 20 years declined due to GP's leaving. I have complex health needs and this surgery is brilliant, wish id registered before to be honest!
The Dr listens and advises, he actually cares about his patients, all the receptionists and admin staff i have met so far are friendly, polite and professional, and make you feel welcome.
I have no problems getting an appointment or repeat prescriptions, and if i call and the lines are engaged then i just try about 5-10 mins later. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this practice to anyone | ||||||

I have been a rewgistered patient for over 10 years and have always felt I have received good service. it is not always possible to get a quick appointment but that is true of most practices, however, in cases where I have been very unwell I have always been seen promptly. I have found that if you are polite and courteous to the staff then that is exactly what you get back. The doctor has always listened and been compassionate and I am more than happy with the service I have recieved. Booking online has also helped me to get quicker appointments and made it easier to obtain repeat prescriptions so I would recommend that patients make use of this option.
