My son who lives in Surrey has cancer and is staying with us in Barnstaple at the moment. He has just had major surgery and needed his stitches removed, we registered him at South Molton as an out of area patient and they arranged an appointment 3 days later. A couple of days later he was having breathing problems and The Royal Marsden hospital he is with contacted South Molton to arrange medication which they did and we picked this up within an hour from Boots Barnstaple. Cannot thank them enough, so helpful which is why when we moved we stayed with them. | ||||||

Well organised and efficient practice. Have seen a GP and had blood tests in the last few weeks. My appointments were all to time and I was treated with courtesy and my treatment discussed with me properly. | ||||||

South Molton Medical Centre reception staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. I have never walked into the practice without the receptionist acknowledging and smiling at me. No matter which doctor you get an appointment with (this may not be your registered doctor - but working in healthcare myself I completely understand this is sometimes the case!) they are friendly but professional, and encourage patients to make choices and decisions around their own health.
Having mental health issues often makes me feel stressed and anxious, especially when going to the doctors. However, they always make me feel calm and comfortable in their presence, giving me ample time to discuss any issues.
