One of the receptionist are very rude on dealing with telephone calls and prescriptions, i ordered prescription online for my daughter and follow up why it didn’t get through however receptionist stated that the Doctor only approved the aveeno and didnt know why the eye drops prescription didn’t get through, however i requested her eye drops again and receptionist stated that it’s gonna be 78hrs. However September 17th 2021 we went to Boots thinking that its ready to pick up, however Boots told us Chess Medical Centre didn’t send her eye drops prescription, then Boots have to ring them regarding her eye drops and they told them that it was stop and canceled by the GP, in this case why the Chess Medical Centre Receptionist didn’t contact us to let us know about this, as we didn’t receive letters or calls from her GP or EYE Doctor that her eye drops prescription are discontinued or stop. I know the fact that if Doctors discontinued or stopped the medication this should have reason or at-list the receptionist should ring us to let us know because we are waiting for nothing! If we didn’t not call the Chess Medical Centre we wont know about it. This cause me anxiety as in her case not having her eye drops for 1week is not a joke. We contacted my daughter’s eye Doctor in Oxford Hospital and they stated that her eye drop is continues and shouldn’t be discontinued or stopped and she didn’t know why the GP stopped and canceled it because this eye drops is for her left facial nerve palsy and this can cause serious problem if this not been given to her. My daughter’s eye doctor contacted and sent email the Chess Medical Centre regarding her eye drops prescriptions, her eye Doctor told me that after 30mins to ring the Chess Medical Centre and it should be okay by then, however when i rang the Chess Medical Centre the receptionist tone of voice is very rude. This receptionist should be helpful in all cost not being rude, this is negligence of duties and responsibilities, poor communications and arrangement. This shouldn’t happen to anyone as this is a serious matter of health, this is unacceptable. |

My husband is in a local care home that is covered by one particular doctor at the New Surgery. The staff have always been very good me (even though i am not a patient there) and very understanding when i have had problems with him.The surgery always looks very clean and modern, although a few new magazines would be good!! I cannot praise Dr Firth enough for her care and commitment, not only to my husband but all the other residents that she looks after. An excellent surgery well done to all. |

After going through a very challenging time I booked to see my Dr. I was able to get an emergency appointment for the same day and with my Dr. The doctor treated me with care, compassion and respect. He took time to listen to me and talk through treatment options. I didn't feel rushed although I knew he had other people waiting. I left feeling so much better knowing that my Dr truly cared about my health and well being. I wasn't made to feel like I was wasting his time and he reassured me that I wasn't and that it was really important to take of yourself. He is one of the most caring and compassionate Dr's that I have ever seen and I tell everyone! I have been with the surgery my whole life and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
and would I have always managed to get an appointment and found the process very easy and the staff are always helpful. |
