I have always had amazing service here from reception to the Nurse and GP. Previous surgeries had dismissed my Endometriosis symptoms but I have been treated very well here and was referred for surgery that saved my life. The after care from the service has always been great, even ten years on.
Recently I suffered an anaphylactic shock after taking an antibiotic. I knew I could get to the surgery quicker than an ambulance could get to me and so I went there.
As my throat closed I told reception what had happened and the staff leapt into action alerting the GP’s.
An ambulance was called and the GP’s were absolutely amazing.
I can’t thank all the staff that day enough.
A really great surgery I would recommend to everyone. |

I have always been able to get an emergency appointment. I’ve never experienced not being able to get an appointment at a time that suited me. On the whole for the last 12 years when I’ve seen a doctor they have afforded me the time necessary to deal with whatever my complaint was even if multiple important complaints, irrespective of any targets they had to meet. At least until my last appointment when for the first time I heard the words we are out of time and you have to make another appointment. However I do understand the constraints on the NHS and I was offered a second appointment quickly and timely and then referred for further treatment almost immediately. I have found 99.9% of the time staff to be kind, caring, sensitive, attentive, helpful and most importantly of all well qualified. Regarding the reception area which is the first point of contact my past experience of receptionists in doctors and dentist surgeries has not left the best impression, but I find the ladies who work at this reception poverty the last five years or so to have improved enormously. To a point I would describe him as discreet, pleasant, helpful and efficient. I cannot speak highly enough of the service this surgery offers. A wide variety of services from nurses willing to checking for moles on an extremely concerned patient to on-site blood test’s. When I listen to other horror stories about other doctor surgery waiting times, hanging on the phone, in the queue number 21, can’t get an appointment, doctor doesn’t speak English, don’t feel heard and I’ve been given very little information I feel very lucky. so as I said I have the 99.9% out of 100. The only thing that might make me give them 100% is to explain the online prescriptions and services as well as patient entitlement to look at records and how to do this in depth. for example after I have blood tests it would be nice to know the results not just by calling up but actually by email or online. But this is a small thing in comparison to the wonderful job this clinic does. I wish everyone was as luck . |
