We have attended this surgery in the last 5 years. They have always been extremely helpful on the phone, finding the best appointments. With my kids, we have always received top service and care from the doctors and nurses. With us, we don't visit that often but when we are in need of requiring medical attention it has always been a very professional and good service. It is s small surgery with excellence in their care for patients, much better than other larger surgeries that we were allocated to in the past. Well done to the team in Westfield you should be proud of the good work you do every day. | ||||||

I am so sad and disgusted to be made to write such an awful review. been having some issues with a skin infection which also started when i began getting stomach pains.
I rang the surgery and was advised i would not be able to see the same doctor i met when i first visited. No details on availability or anything on my previous doctor.
I then have tried to book something in with a doctor who is actually based on site. Sorry no availability for 10 days. The reason for this is due to meeting a Locum doctor who literally wanted me out the door faster than i walked in. Did not examine me properly.
Gave me a couple of anti biotics and cream which have not helped at all. If anything the situation is now worse. Did not listen to any of my concerns regarding pains in my stomach and now its worse. I do not want to waste another afternoon off work, travelling all the way to see another locum who will not even care. No details of the Dr online or on this web page or even when i went into the surgery. Shocking and disgusted. I had to book in another Drs appointment due to the issues getting worse, again no Drs onsite only Locums.
The person i spoke to on the phone, started off friendly enough, but as soon as i advised i wanted a little bit more effort on their side to check if their is availability for the same doctor, their manner was rude, direct and behaved in a way which made me feel like i was asking more than i should. I pay my taxes, i never attend the doctors unless it is of real concern or an issue. Its been almost 6 months maybe even more and yet this is how they treat you? Not good enough, need to have more patience and understand this issues, its not hard to shut up and listen. And if you dont have a resolution, speak to them stop trying to get rid of people. Abn extra min stops all the issues and makes the person feel as if you are taking into account what your trying to explain. Otherwise you make them feel alienated and make then even consider why they pay tax for you to be paid in the first place to treat people like this. There is a serious reason why Bupa is growing and the NHS is losing its respect and trust.
Please stop treating the people who use your service like a burden, they are the reason you are there. Try and be helpful and if you are that fed up of your job just leave. Also less locums more Drs who are based there and will look after their main contacts instead of sending them to Locums who are there for the day or week and really do not care. They rush through you to get to the next person to meet their targets. Fed up of the lack of care. | ||||||
