I phoned recently today to register with the surgery and was told to bring proof of Identification and address by the person I spoke to on the phone
I travel all the way to the surgery while in a lot of pain with my foot and was told differently at reception and told I also need a bank statement. They did not mention this on the phone so I was turned away while in a lot of pain and wanted to see a doctor if possible. Such a wasted journey. They must think I have all the time in the world. Well they certainly do as the receptionists were just busy chatting with one another and not doing any work.
Seriously they should be ashamed of this. I should have made more of a fuss there I feel and should have kicked off. That seem's the only way to resolve things
I was too polite I feel and that's my mistake. I wish I can take this further and someone needs to be fired over this |
