My high cholesterol level from blood test result just had added text comment of: improve diet and exercise. No proper cholesterol results of LDL and HDL levels ( very relevant!).No follow up appointment offered and was not even asked about my lifestyle. But I never smoked, don’t drink alcohol, not overweight, eat healthily, active lifestyle so unlikely candidate for the high level the results gave. They were just disinterested and dismissed me with a comment not relevant to me. They seem lazy, uncaring and this seemed very unprofessional. Unimpressed. |

My partner and I are both in our 89’s and have been with this practice since June 2021 and my experience so far is EXCELLENT. The reception staff are very friendly, polite and efficient. The nurses are very caring and understanding. I have only seen one doctor so far but I have had several conversations with 3 of the doctors about my partner who has multiple medical issues and I have been impressed with their knowledge, the ability to LISTEN. I am his registered carer and he has mixed dementia so I have to act on his behalf as he doesn’t understand his medical problems. We have both just completed a ReSPECT form after discussing our wishes and both doctors I spoke to listened to our concerns and advised accordingly. Well done - I have had a good first impression of the whole practice. |

On hold today for 1 hour 19 minutes so plenty of time to read the mostly awful reviews, so I was not expecting the reception I got when I eventually spoke to Sharon. Polite and knowledgeable, sorted my complex issues with speed, efficiency and empathy. A credit to The Grove M.C. and The NHS. Thank you so much Sharon! |
