My experiences have been awful, I am displaying symptoms of a life-threatening disease, primary ‘red flag’ symptoms actually and yet the doctor’s surgery seem powerless to act in my best interest. The turnover of staff has been considerable to say the least and I feel that no one doctor there even has a qualified ‘snapshot’ of my overall health nor understands what I am trying to tell them. I have absolutely no confidence in the surgery and believe that they are just waiting for me to be admitted into hospital and for somebody else to solve the problem. Of course, by then the damage will have been done, perhaps by being blind or dead. |

The surgery is very busy but tries to manage things. Staff listen and they are respectful and supportive. A nice waiting area, although access to water would be nice. |

A persistent ignorance of spectrum life and social challenges with repeated over-sites on service delivery.
A reliance on a folklore of local and national Autism services and their availability, with a resistance to listen to the expertise of patience and a failure of inclusive attitude.
This surgery has great ideas about itself, but has a very blinkered and limited attitude to the Autism Experience. It has no respect for Patient expertise and does not deliver services in a timely of professional manner when it come to the black hole of Autism Provision.
A national Medical assessor has been sidelined and received no professional response.
Not recommended if your living with the challenges of a family or as an independent on the Spectrum. |
