    Requested my latest medical notes/report from medical centre last month, for appeal hearing via CAB. Due to unforeseen problems, request delayed but after calling the medical centre manager, the request was expedited within a day and posted out to CAB and picked up my copy, same day. Ultimately, the documents were not used due to misinformation provided. Great work by the staff, to turn around request in a day.

    Hello, Thanks for this feedback, it is very much appreciated. We understood that the unforeseen problems were related to a third party and the difference between the practice providing a simple copy of your summary notes and a GP completing a medical report. Probably worth us clarifying to patients, that from a request being made, the practice has 28 days to provide a report or medical notes. In addition, reports often have a fee attached to them as the GP needs to spend time on these where as summary notes are provided free of charge. Where possible we will try and provide notes or reports as quickly as we can however when we have a lot of requests it can take up to the 28 days. Patients who have registered for online patient access can have a look at their own summary notes and print off without any need to make a request via the practice. There is more information about how to register for online patient access and details about reports and medical records on our website or patients call us so we can advise. Pleased that we were able to do this on time for you even if, in the end, the documents weren't used. Take care, Villa Street

    We have been with this surgery for over 3 years now and so far loved it. Had a few minor hiccups but apart from that it's great.

    I've been a patient with this practice for a few years and have always found them to be incredibly helpful. The receptionists are lovely and the doctors seem to really care. Thank you!
