Ivy Bower Surgery

The rudest receptionist ever. Not once but always. She is simply extremely arrogant and everything but helpful. She even was warned once by the Practice Manager in my presence but she continued to be rude every time I went to the surgery. Nurses, doctors and Practice Manager are very okay, but this woman at reception never should work at such a place. Decided to change GP thanks to her.

I still cannot comprehend the appalling treatment I received at the hands of the receptionist Ivy Bower recently. Whilst my Complaint was upheld it in no way compensates for how the experience has left me feeling. Most people able to get a face to face appointment are unwell which makes them vunerable,if you can't recognise this then frankly you are in the wrong job

I needed a referral so phoned Ivy Bower Surgery that's where the frustration started told I needed to phone back at 8am but I didn't want or need a same day appointment but rules is rules (hopefully now changed under NHS contact. In desperation filled out an econsol ( many can't) giving as much information as I could. Needn't have bothered as clearly not read by doctor who phoned me the next day and given the questions clearly had not one idea of my history. I understand forms have to be filled in but some questions were ridiculous. With NO confidence I wait to see what the outcome is regarding an appointment.
