As I am a new patient I will keep an open mind, I have enrolled with no problem but my address I gave was not entirely correct, but this did not cause any problem and was rectified, as I have been on a medicine for over 8 years, the doctor I was assigned to informed me by letter that I would receive a phone call to discuss my medication, two weeks later in the afternoon, as a new client I would have expected a face to face meeting, as I have a blood test each year which is on my record, but the system is as the receptionist pointed out, you talk to the doctor by phone within two weeks, then you ask for an appointment to see the doctor which is another week face to face for a blood testa blood test which one assumes is another two weeks, that is if you have an appointment with the doctor as they are the only one who can refer you for a blood test, this is all drawn out which can only mean that there is not enough time, but we shall see what prevails, I have now asked for a face to face meeting with a doctor, not the one assigned to me as they are not available, this I will be attending in one week from today, where I shall see what I can review next from a first hand experience, and will give an update as to that experience good bad or indifferent, |

Feel very let down by all at newton place ,I have suffered my condition since having my appendix out aged 24 I'm 56 now and still no better off ,I'm constantly fobbed off and all I seem to have is blood wee and poop test none of which give any answers ,it's as if the doctors don't care that I can hardly leave my house or have any kind of life I have had to give up my career of a long distance lorry driver (artics) I struggle to get appointments and find once in a. Appointment they can't really be arsed as if they don't believe me I only stay with newton due to don't want to have to spend all my appointment explaining my condition and how it effects me on a daily basis , Very very disappointed and very angry with how I'm treated , |

I had to contact the surgery yesterday to address an urgent matter,the response could not have been dealt with in a more professional manner,they were excellent. This is not an isolated case, the surgery always go that little bit further to help patients, a true crown in the NHS system. Thank you. |
