I have always had great service at Chapel Street. The reception staff are polite and helpful, I can always get an appointment in a reasonable time. I have seen the GP registrar twice who was kind and approachable and referred me on to a specialist promptly. | ||||||

This surgery very rarely answers the phone. I have to keep trying and trying all day long before I get an answer. They never have any appointments and tell you that you cannot book a week in advance, they always ask me to phone up on the day and try to see if there is a last minute appointment. This does not work for most working people. If you are a little pushy they will end up booking an appointment for a week or two's time which means they are lying about not having any in the first place. Then you find that they book you in to a paramedic and not a GP. They continuously forget to phone you back with test results so I am left chasing them up for days and days, mainly because they don't answer the phone most of the time. Finally they are always running late. Even first thing appointments. | ||||||

I and my family have been patients with this GP's for 40+ year's, and over these year's we have seen this practice go down hill. Certain member's of the reception team go out of there way 100% to help you, BUT there is one member who seem's to think she is the doctor and tells you that the Doctor's are fully booked for month's in advance, you cannot make an appointment they can't take a message or have a call back for at least two to three week's. If it wasn't for the fact that I have heard that the Quayside practice are worse id change to another Doctor's if I could and take my family with me.
