Joined this practice about 2 years ago after I witnessed the wonderful care my father received at the Pavilion Surgery. I have seen a few GP's there and every one of them has been very attentive and caring. I feel I am in safe hands - nothing is too much trouble. I understand that GP's can run behind time but I am usually seen promptly - I never feel as if I am being rushed and always leave the surgery with a plan of action. Can't thank you all enough for all the care I have received.

I have have had two appointments at this surgery recently. My experience reminded me of robotic GPs who only do what they are programmed for by the NHS, hitting targets and scoring Brownie's points regardless of what the patient tells them or their supposed medical expertise has taught them. Attempts at having a discussion about things is met with the words they are the doctors and would not be having any discussion with the patient. I was shouted at for trying to have a rational discussion about pros and cons of testing and blackmailed to agree to unreasonable testing. My unsurprisingly high blood under those circumstances was used as yet another opportunity to score more Brownie's points. I later found out I had got a rudely phrased referral. Even worse, I felt a diagnosis was being pressured on me without reason and my current diagnoses attempted to be overthrown although I have tested positive for them previously. In the future I would hesitate to go again unless on my last legs.
