We have been trying to call the surgery to make an appointment for almost 1 hour. When we first got through, we were No 3 in the queue, when we finally got to No 1 in the queue, we waited approx 10 mins, to then be cut off!!! It is absolutely ridiculous trying to speak to their reception or make contact with someone via phone. My husband is now resorting to getting out of bed to walk to the doctors (as he is unable to drive). To be able to make an appointment and hopefully get some assistance. Does anyone in the surgery ever read these appealing reviews and do anything about the poor level of service - why do we pay our NHS contributions to receive such shabby treatment ???? | ||||||

Moving from this surgery due to this being the worse patient confidentiality I’ve ever seen. Whilst waiting for my appointment I had this misfortune of hearing 2 of the receptionist openly discussing a patient that had called to complain regarding how long she’s had waited on the phone over an hour.. and how terrible it was that this “bloody” woman had the cheek to complain being as they don’t get paid enough to put up with her crap apparently she’d been waiting over an hour and 15 minutes before she gave up & there’s nothing wrong with her anyway Lovely to hear how professional they are about the patients & that a receptionist knows what is and isn’t wrong medically with this last over the phone, lovely how they speak about the actual people who if didn’t attend their surgery then they wouldn’t have the job anyway. This surgery is absolutely awful, expect a wait of over an hour to get through on the phones, that's if you get through, many times I've walked up to the surgery feeling ill to get a GP appointment. I have read many reviews regarding the phone system so why not resolve the problem?? A simple resolution would also be, put a simple message, The Surgery is closed between 1300 and 1400 Calls will not be answered. | ||||||
