Poor level of care, receptionists (not their fault) having to relay important information regarding referrals yet not actually understanding any questions you may have. You do not really feel like they know who you are - even when they read your medical records. Which i appreciate must be difficult running a practice with lots of patients but there is no personal touch. I will be considering other doctors. I am sorry you have had a bad experience when contacting the surgery. Not all of our reception staff are trained in all areas but we are working on changing this and we take all feedback very seriously and it is discussed with all staff at the surgery so that we can strive for improvement. We do have a referrals administrator who should be able to answer any questions you have about your referral or you can always contact the practice manager who will be more than happy to help you. It is nearly impossible to phone them. You need to try for a long time and if you are lucky you get to speak to somebody.
It is very hard to get an appointment there. They have only 2 doctors and they are not always there. One of the doctors works only Fridays. Few times when I popped in - there was nobody in GP practise. No people waiting. And when you phone them - normally you get -there are no appointments for today. And GP practise is empty. It means that there are no doctors! | ||||||

I am very lucky to been seen within half an hour of my appointment time. A couple of weeks ago i had the first appointment of the day - it was 45 minutes late because the Dr had not arrived. The receptionists had failed to tell me this. A couple of weeks before this, i had a telephone appointment..... the Dr was 2 hours late to call me due to having meetings - seriously annoying lack of communication.
I also find it weird that the receptionist smokes a vape behind the desk. | ||||||
