I was asked to have a BP monitor fitted so I made the appointment and took time off work to have this done.
I attended the appointment and had the device fitted
For the next hour the device failed to work correctly, constantly pumping cutting off circulation to my arm causing pain and pins and needles. The device constantly showed an error message.
I returned to the surgery to get it checked but was told there was a full surgery and no-one would even look at it.
I explained that the device was not working and was actually causing pain constantly cutting off circulation, but still no responsibility was taken.
I was told maybe the device was faulty but they had a full surgery and they would not even look at it.
It was suggested that I go buy one
No responsibility was taken what so ever
Total waste of my time, I returned the device. |

Never had a problem with this surgery. always polite and helpful. get the impression the GP's are under a lot of pressure to meet commitments and targets. so sometimes the surgery can be a bit hurried. that's to be expected with today's current levels of patients registering with practices. too many people not enough doctors to go round. hopefully the NHS will alleviate the amount of pressure put on doctors. by increasing the infrastructure and decreasing the amount of patients that need to belong to a surgery. i might even believe that will happen, if i wasn't so cynical. Called at 805am, helpful receptionist appts at 820am or 930am! Living close by I took the earlier one, saw the GP, picked up medication and was home for 845!!
Couldn’t get any better! Excellent!!
