I feel totally messed around and let down by this surgery. Having been a patient there for years I am debating leaving as a result of the terrible service I’ve been receiving. I have been trying to get an appointment with a doctor that has been dealing with me for a week now because I have been put on medication and I need to follow it up. I have constant itching in my legs and I’ve been prescribed antihistamines but I have been on them 3 months and I just want to know how much longer I will be on them. I tried to get an appointment a few days ago and I was in the call queue for an hour and a half. I then reached the receptionist who was quite frankly, rude, who didn’t have any appointments and told me to call back tomorrow. I felt so frustrated but did as she said. Fast forward a few days of trying, still got nowhere, so I wrote a letter to the doctor to explain my situation. It isn’t an urgent appointment but could he JUST let me know about this medication. I then receive a text from the surgery. Although sealed, my letter has clearly been opened by the receptionists who have scanned this onto my records and asked me to book an appointment the following day. I was quite annoyed at this but thought If they’ve asked me, surely that means they have something. I call again to be told there was nothing. It was explained to me that appointments are released for 14 days tomorrow and 7 days on a different date. When I complained and explained the text I was simply told to ring back tomorrow. And guess what? When I did I was told THE SAME THING. The receptionists are extremely rude and appointments are treated like it’s a new release of an iPhone! It’s such a stupid system. All I want is to book a telephone appointment (not even face to face) for some point in the near future to discuss this medication. I am a teacher and when the term starts up I won’t have time to keep ringing and ringing like this. Becoming the Chelmer medical partnership has completely ruined what was once a wonderful surgery and I feel so let down. | ||||||

Terrible service. Been trying for weeks to get a telephone appointment with a Doctor. I suffer with cluster headaches and have been in agony. It would take 2 minutes for someone to speak to me and sort out a prescription. Wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone. Useless | ||||||

I have been told by Dr Suleimam to book a blood pressure test but the queue list is always full. What to do? I have rung about 10 times over the last two days! | ||||||
