It is very difficult to get through to the surgery by telephone and get an appointment. The receptionists are very rude and uncooperative. There is no confidentiality maintained by receptionists, as everything is discussed in front of other patients. The information like when the flu jab is given or when the nurse will be in the surgery is hard to come by. There is a great need for the senior receptionist to be trained in customer service and verbal communication. | ||||||

The staff at this Surgery are excellent and courteous, besides being very helpful. I have been with this practice since 1973 or thereabouts and will never change, although I live in Hampton in Middlesx which is roughly 8 to 9 miles distance to the Surgery. The GPs are well-known of my Asthmatic and COPD problems and, they always suggest right procedures, prescriptions and methods of treatment explaining the procedure to me.
I am happy and most comfortable at the Surgery and I am lucky, I must confess.
Also, the GPs refer me to the right hospitals and the Consultants, in good time, so that I get good treatment and the COPD is fairly controlled with proper medicines.
Also, this Surgery sends me regularly for various blood, urine and Chest x-rays etc which, some are, annually. The tabs are always on and I am confident with all the treatment I get. For this purpose, the Staff keep tabs of requirement and remind me in well in advance to attend all the tests required.

They have cancelled appointments on multiple occasions or will call a few hours before scheduled appointment and say that we have "no more patients coming in today - so you either come now or we will give you appointment next week". Asking questions irritate them. They sent us twice to the wrong hospital for blood test. Did not inform us of receiving blood report promptly even when we were calling everyday to enquire. | ||||||
