Previous reviews do not do this wonderful GP team justice. I have been a patient for over 25 years at the ridgeway and Alexandra Ave clinic which is a branch surgery, and yes the surgery has changed as have many GP practices as a result of staff and resource shortages. But at it's heart it is a senior partnership team that really care about patients and want the best for them. I can honestly say that at every stage of my life thus far When I have needed medical help I have been able to access it without difficulty and in a timely way. I juggle a number of health conditions and they manage to keep on top of them even when I can't. My elderly Mother is also a patient and receives excellent care, and GP's listen to my concerns when I am worried about her. If I don't agree with treatment advice I am listened to and other options are considered with me.
GP's at this practice are exceptionally hard working and committed and do their best in extremely challenging circumstances. I would not wish to be treated anywhere else, and I am so very grateful and count myself lucky in this difficult time for the NHS that I have such good care. | ||||||

I was unwell and couldnt get a GP appointment. i came to the walking centre and seen by a very nice doctor who took time to talk to me and prescribe me some medicine and only waited 20 minutes. excelent service | ||||||

The GP practice needs to improve overall. There are some Drs who don't take the time to ask the patient of what is wrong and prescribes before even the patient sits down. Also, booking appointments is a difficult process as the waiting time through telephone is very long and the best Drs have appointments only months away in online. The waiting time to see the Dr is too long as well... Sometimes the tone of the reception staff is not very friendly. | ||||||
