Requested a statement of good health for a student visa application at the start of June. Sent us an invoice with no explanation, and did not start looking at this until it was paid at the start of July. Mid August, after chasing weekly, we got the statement (a signature and stamp on a piece of paper we provided), but they would not register with the Foreign office, so it is not certifiable. So of no use. Daughters term starts 1 September! Dreadful service. Other practices do this. A friends in Welwyn, doing it for the first time last year, took a full week to sort it out. Not two and a half months, and then refusing to send a simple email to register the signature for free with the FCDO. Wasting their own time, my time, and causing a lot of stress and sleepless nights, and tears. |

From experience, doctors are fine however, staff at the front desk are RUDE and have absolutely no respect for private matters and speak about your medical needs in front of each other rather than on a one to one basis. This is embarrassing for individuals with needs that might not want to be spoken about in public. Help was unclear as well as delivered with a rude and sarcastic tone- this made me feel like a ‘nuisance’ rather than a patient. I arrived with a lot of positivity politely waiting for some advice and help in regards to getting to see a doctor as quickly as possible and when I confirmed their answer to my question they responded SO RUDELY I feel like I can’t speak to anyone. RUDE AND MAKING A FORMAL COMPLAINT. |

I have experienced a good deal of improvement over the last few years, and they seem to have quite an innovative practice which means they have really excellent and experienced staff. The support staff, don’t always get it right but to be fair it is an incredibly complex system. they are always polite and always want to correct it. I can’t fault their customer service and appear very compassionate with people. I don’t think you can ask for more.
For me the stars of the show are some of the GPs, in particular two doctors are absolutely outstanding professionals - experience, skills, grace and compassion. they absolutely have the art of being a fantastic general practitioner - evidence-based and intuitive.
Given the enormous pressure on the NHS and increasing pressure on general practice/primary care I think they’re doing a good job And I would recommend them. |
