My 13 year old son needed 4 teeth out. Mr Chan was very aggressive in terms of the numbing injections. His mouth was bleeding badly even before the teeth were pulled. My son found the whole process very traumatic. |

Cant remember how long we have been coming to this surgery, but I have always found the dentist to be an excellent dentist, very gentle and polite and I feel has my best interests at heart.
The dental facilities are very modern and up to date, making crown fittings very easy - all done in a couple hours. The only thing I feel that lets it down is that it feels very old fashioned and needs bringing into the 21st century. All records are paper based and appointments made in a diary - not in this day and age very secure - although I do appreciate IT systems can be hacked.
The other point I would like to make is that I recently had some work done and presented my credit card only to be told that they no longer take credit cards and was shown a notice on the mirror to my left (which I hadn't seen). I didn't have any other card on me at the time and had to give them a ring to pay for treatment when I got home.
I was told that this had been in effect for a couple of months, all very well but if you haven't been to the surgery since this was in effect how would you know they don't take credit cards? I was also not offered any explanation as to why.
It would be useful for them to have a computer system so that they could communicate these sort of things to their customers. |
