Peartree Care Centre is a purpose built residential and nursing home for older people some of whom have a dementia. The home is set back on a main road and near to local shops, cafes and bus routes. There are three floors that provide designated care depending on the type of support people need; nursing, early dementia and dementia. There is access to a closed garden at the back of the home.

Apr 20 2015 My friend went to live here in 2010. The management are open to ideas. They try to resolve problems in the best way possible, they listen to issues and offer immediate explanation or solutions. I was always made to feel welcome and was offered drinks and snacks at any time of the day. My friend passed away in 2014, received great palliative Care here as they worK closely with the palliative care team in St Christopher s hospice. The management, care staff, cleaners and cooks are all very nice. They gO out of their way to make you feel welcome. If I am ever faced with the challenge of placing a loved one in a care home, I would choose this one any day.
