The Alan Shearer Centre comprises a specialist& Short Break Centre and Activity Centre on one site for adults and children with physical and learning disabilities. The centres can be used together or independently of each other.
The Alan Shearer Short Break Centre provides accommodation for disabled adults and children needing personal or nursing care. The centre offers& bespoke short breaks or longer-term residential care& tailored to the specific needs of each individual, including those with complex needs, autism and Aspergers Syndrome. Short Break guests have automatic, free access to the Alan Shearer Activity Centre on the lower floor.
The Alan Shearer Activity Centre is a specialist recreational, sensory and social centre for disabled people of all ages. Membership of the Activity Centre is free and gives free access to& the wide range of& facilities available& including hydropool, music room, sensory rooms,ball pool, extensive grounds and cafe.
