Ingleborough is a care home providing both nursing and personal care for people who may suffer with dementia, physical disability or be terminally ill. The home is owned by Ingleborough Nursing Home LLP. Ingleborough was previously a hotel and is located in the centre of the Dales village of Ingleton. The home has a garden area to the side of the home. Parking is available on the easterly side of the site and being in the centre of the village, local amenities are easily accessed.

Jul 20 2021 Having several time tried to meet an old friend and colleague during the covid period Unsuccessfully as it was through a double glazed window next to a busy road. I could not hear an word he said and he could not hear a word I said. Contacted the home on 20.07.2021when resrtrictions had supposedly eased. Told I must make an appointment which I did for a time to suit the home. Arrived on time but told no record of my appointment. Directed to the window by the road in full glare of sun in 27 deg temp. Stated I would not bother as it was a waste of time. Disappointing for my friend. Will not bother trying to see him in there again. Waste of a journey over there. Will try to see him if they can get him outside. Failing that we will hopefully meet in the afterlife. It is as though the staff rules punish the residents for the staffs convenience. I am well aware of the needs for care due to Covid but surely the residents should have the same rights as the rest of the country. I do not think I would like to be locked away in that place. Horrible staff efficiency and customer care for the residents.
