St Stephens is a nursing home providing care and accommodation for up to 40 older people in Elworth near Sandbach, Cheshire. The care home was purpose built over 20 years ago and offers single room accommodation without en-suite facilities. St Stephens provides care to older people who are physically frail or have conditions such as dementia. Nursing and care staff are provided 24 hours a day. The home maintains strong links with The Alzheimer’s Society and Age UK (formally Help the Aged /Age Concern).

Dec 29 2017 I have today visited St Stephens with a view to my father having a place here. Having looked around 8 other homes I can honestly say this is the best. Upon our arrival we were greeted by smiling and welcoming staff. The residents appeared very happy and content and during our tour all staff acknowledged us and made us welcome. Each bedroom overlooks the garden area and have been tailored to individual needs. There are lots of small seating areas if residents would like peace and quiet and larger day rooms. What impressed me most was how residents and families are made to feel welcome here and are encouraged to get involved in the care of their loved one. Overall we were Very Impressed.
