    My father has been living and cared for by the staff at Elderholme since April. the care he has received has been wonderful. We visit him at all times of the day and evening and never cease to find him happy and wonderfully cared for. he is shown great respect and is included in decision making and choice in all aspects of his care. His greatest love is the food and especially the home made cakes and rocket lolly ices !! We cannot thank the staff enough dfor all their care

    Absolutely shocking lack of basic care towards patients, 3 times I have witnessed my nan who is my absolute world, being left to soil herself after pressing her buzzer for 15 minutes and me asking for numerous members of staff. The rooms are dirty and patients left sat in a chair all day due to the beds being unmade ! Not to mention finding her dressed in a mans thermal vest and tshirts with the radiator on full blast and the door shut ! It could of been fatal I've never seen her so unhappy and agitated in her whole life ! Also found to have salmonella and a bug in her bowel !!!!!! This is a prison ! Do not put anyone here couldn't be a worse place for someone to end there days
