Oct 15 2022 My Uncle suffering from Dementia was taken by Social Services to a place a safety - the care shown to him by all staff at Barton Lodge was outstanding. We also quietly observed the patience and care shown towards other residents - always kindly, always patient - it was quite moving actually. The management kept us informed and updated throughout my Uncles lengthy stay, we were impressed by the friendly yet professional approach and constant care in difficult circumstances - my Uncle left the Barton Lodge care home in a much better state of mind and more able to cope with daily life.The home itself is in a marvellous position - with views of The Needles Isle of Wight from the extensive gardens, the accommodation is modern and comfortable, rooms personalised, and the food is very good. We couldn’t have asked for more - our sincere thanks to all.
Barton Lodge Care HomeBy: M Hooda Rating:.. Jan 4 2018 A very welcoming staff offered tea or coffee in a very comfortable lounge. We went through the facilities available and a tour of the Home was very aptly handled. An explanation of the division of the Home for Dementia and, with capacity was adequately addressed. Each section is provided with all the comforts including beautiful gardens specifically designed for security and stimulation of memory. Staff are trained on a regular basis and those in attendance were observed to be high in proportion to Residents. A highly recommended Home located in a very idyllic but easily accessible area of New Milton.
