Thompson Court is a purpose built facility providing rehabilitation, assessment and respite care to a maximum of 37 people requiring support without nursing. They are supported by the GP surgery which is in an attached building and district nurses. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy was available to those people in the rehabilitation unit.

Nov 23 2016 Our mum stayed at Thompson Court recuperating from an operation in June/July 2016. She made splendid progress and we all thought Thompson Court was marvellous. The staff were warm, caring and cheerful, Mum said the food was great and the atmosphere was very friendly. We always felt welcome and the staff gave us time to answer our questions. Mum felt very lucky to have stayed there and we can't thank the staff there enough.

Mother trusted the people who looked after her and from everything we saw on our daily visits they warranted that trust. When her health worsened the staff intervened and saw that Mother saw a doctor or was taken to A&E with alacrity. I would have no qualms in recommending Thompson Court to anyone with an elderly relative, even one as ill as Mother. Thank you Thompson Court staff.

May 23 2015 I have not visited Thompson Court myself but my mother is staying there and i have to say i have never spoken to anyone as foul,nasty and abusive as the person who answered the phone when i called to ask if my mother was returning today. I am going to complain about this every where i possibly can as no one should be treated like that.I don`t know who this person was and they do not know me. and to what end they launched this verbal assault on me i cannot fathom....
