i was due for an NHS hearing test appointment 13/09/19.booked in july, for the date & time convenience rather than first available. on the 11th they decided to cancel & give me an appointment the next day , when i would be 200 miles away. not a big deal if they had contacted me on the 11th, but no they posted a letter that arrived in the afternoon on the day of the appointment.luckily i was ready to leave a little bit early & decided to open the 2 letters that had arrived at 4.50pm. so i immediately phoned & had to queue it was answered at 4.58 but cut off, so i called back straight away, but they had put the answerphone on. i left a message & got a callback from the private appointment lady who apologised & cancelled the next day appointment.but couldn't re book . she said the NHS people would callback i explained i work in a poor signal area i would be available just before 9am or 4.55pm. they attempted a call monday at 8.57am that didnt get through. they have never tried again despite me leaving a further message as yet again no one to answer. i have used pinehill for many years as a private & NHS patient & have noticed a steady decline in every aspect.
