I have used the same chemist for many years and have been more than satisfied with the service. More recently (the last eighteen months to two years) I have had a totally different experience and now, I've had enough. 1. I have regularly been given 'owing slips' meaning I have had to re-visit the chemist once or twice to receive common prescription drugs. 2. I have received 'cut up' pre-pack sheets of drugs where the constituent parts have obviously been taken from one or more previously opened or surplus boxes. 3. I have had to return to the chemist because part of the prescription has been missing because It was in the fridge and I didn't see it and received no apology for the 'mistake' 4. I have spent up to forty minutes at the counter waiting for my prescription to be produced while the staff sit or stand chatting to each other. 5. I have been told that my prescription 'hasn't come through yet' and when I ring the surgery in front of the chemist counter staff, I get told It was sent at 12.30pm yesterday The counter staff don't even get embarrassed or try to apologise. I've had my say now and can only hope that someone will eventually find a way to 'encourage' them to improve ~~ Please !
