My husband ordered his medication early to ensure that he had enough over the holiday period, he fills his pill box on a Sunday morning for the coming week. My husband has a PPC, he gets 5 items of prescription every month, he has a serious Heart condition and needs his medication. This morning he has opened his new bag of medication only to find his Ramipril is missing. This is not the first time mistakes have been made with this chemist. Missing medication, delivering to a incorrect address, not accepting a PPC, stating they don't need it, not ticking the list of medication is in the bag, the white part of the prescription. My husband needs his medication to prevent yet another Heart Attack!! Something needs to be done with this Chemist, God forbid this happened to an elderly person, they could kill someone or cause irreparable harm. |

I have been using this pharmacy since it opened, only because it is conveniently attached to my GP surgery.
However the receptionist is the most unfriendly and rudest person I have ever met. She is miserable, never acknowledges you, smiles or speaks to you, and when you ask her a question she grunts it back.
The pharmacy staff talk loudly in the background about all kinds of personal issues. They are very loud and you can hear everything they are saying which is very unprofessional. They are often talking about extremely inappropriate or offensive things and constantly laughing out loud. We all appreciate a bit of laughter but when you are feeling unwell, and they are shouting and laughing at the tops of their voices it is extremely annoying.
I would be very surprised if no one has complained before. Patients/clients often complain amongst ourselves about the service.
Prescriptions that are often ready are left for ages and patients have to ask the receptionist if theirs are ready before she picks them up to check, but she does not rush herself, she takes her time and then hands them over without an apology, often annoying the patient resulting in them making a rude comment to her.
The receptionist also often leaves piles of prescriptions on the desk while she goes around the back to speak to the pharmacy staff, which I think is disgraceful, as patients could read what other patients are prescribed or these could easily be stolen.
The quiet room, is not quiet or confidential. You can hear every word that is spoken in there, this needs to be made confidential. I have often sat in the chair next to that door and you can hear every word that is spoken in there - which is a breach of confidentiality.
Please take this seriously as the staff and confidentiality needs to be sorted as soon as possible.
