We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

I wish to praise the staff and service in Melbourne Chemist. Several name changes have been forced upon us but the service and staff remains the same. I would take issue with a previous review. In fact I would ask how do you quantify rudeness. The fact that the staff are busy or your prescriptions are not ready doesn’t make them rude. Dealing with another customer doesn’t make them rude. Answering the phone doesn’t mean they are rude.
I find that elderly people can be rude, if I hold a door open and they bustle past. I feel sorry for them. If you speak to a member of staff as though they are lower class I consider you rude.

I write to redress the impression given of this pharmacy by a previous reviewer. I have always found the staff efficient, helpful and very kind. I have on occasions asked for advice when the surgery was too busy and received care and attention of a very high standard.
