Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

16th March 2021 16.30pm. I’m extremely upset and disappointed that I felt the need to write this review as my experience was so poor and the experience I also witnessed of an elderly gentleman too. The customer service I received today was terrible the lady was rude, and her tone was very abrupt and unprofessional to myself and the elderly gentleman!! She abruptly shouted from the back that prescriptions weren’t ready and wasn’t their fault and they were short staffed, the elderly gentleman had been 3 times. I totally understand and appreciate how hard staff are having to work and particularly how stressful it is however, Customers and vulnerable people are collecting prescriptions and sometimes have had to wait outside in the cold for considerable time so do not expect to be greeted with such rudeness and especially when elderly! We all need to be kind and considerate so I’m upset to be writing this as the team are obviously struggling but I for one do not want to receive such poor experience and feel upset by been spoken to like this.

Every time I go I've found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The text notification of prescription works well. Can't fault it.
