We've made it our mission to take the hassle out of prescriptions. To do this, we're changing how we work so that we can give you more choice in how you get your medicines.
Whether you're under the weather or on long-term medicines, managing and collecting your prescriptions can add unnecessary extra stress. In the UK, the pharmacy model hasn't really moved on in the last 70 years, and we're working to change that.
Our pharmacies
We're developing a new store model which focuses on the things that matter most to our customers and fundamentally changes how our pharmacy teams work. We've redesigned the dispensing process and introduced new stock monitoring measures so that you don't have to wait for your medicines, and we've freed up our pharmacists to spend more time helping our customers.
As part of this, we're also bringing new technology into our pharmacies. This includes 24/7 prescription pick-up machines – meaning you can collect your medicine any time, day or night – and a text notification service, so we can let you know when your prescription is ready to collect.

I've phoned multiple times over two days to ask a question on behalf of an elderly patient I'm supporting as a volunteer. Nobody ever answers the phone and eventually it just cuts off. How are elderly patients who can't leave home supposed to get help?

The worst pharmacy you can have. The people working here are like Gods, they make you come in an hour even though they texted beforehand that your meds are ready. When you arrive it turns out they can't find them and you have to wait until they order from somewhere else. (This has already happened twice). When you call to make sure your medication is ready when you arrive, they hang up the phone. Rude, even though I tried my best because I thought they would finally know they were dealing with cultured people. Now I have had enough.
I am changing it and I hope I never have to come here. I do not recommend it to anyone. I persevered one year, one year too many.

With the Co-op i did not have to worrt about having to order repeat prescriptions; it was done by them. I am supposed to have medication delivered and in the past this had not always happened. sometimes the excuse has been that they are waiting for something to come in. it did not occur to them that I may be waiting urgently for a particular item and they could have rung me to check. My eye drops expire tomorrow but my attempts to contact them by phone today are met with a cutting-off of my calls. There is no delivery on Saturdays. Adelay until Monday could contribute to my deteriorating eye sight
