Rude, unhelpful staff and generally just a nightmare to deal with in every way. Even though we are all registered at the doctor's practise, we travel to the helpful pharmacy down on the Hughenden Road who are always willing and able to assist and fulfill prescriptions etc. This pharmacy is not fit for purpose. They don't stock run of the mill over counter analgesics and are unable to supply standard prescription items. All in all a place to be avoided at all costs.

I use this pharmacy monthly as I receive my repeat prescription for myself & my family, direct from the doctors. It is getting to the point where I dread going, every time I visit I am shocked at the customer service, they are so rude and unhelpful and not once have I been greeted with a friendly face. There are always problems with the medication and I have serious worries about there competency. I have collected prescriptions only to get home and find half of it is missing, when I query this I am told 'yeah we couldn't get this medication' as if it is not their problem, no apology or help offered. When I ask what I should do and why I wasn't informed, I am treated as if I am asking too much. The medication is for a chronic condition which if not taken can lead to serious complications. The whole experience with this pharmacy causes so much stress I have now spoken to another local pharmacy who have been so keen to help. They have a smile on their face when they talk to you and genuinely care about their patients it makes me wonder why I subjected myself and my family to so many years of stress with Hughenden Valley. I have been told by this other local pharmacy that many other customers have commented on HV extremely poor service, I suspect as HV pharmacy are connected with GP surgery there customers are automatic and therefore good service is not a priority.

I find the staff at this pharmacy rude and uncaring. It is linked to the GP surgery so it is busy but I don't think anyone would go there by choice. When I am waiting for my prescription I hear all the customers are treated the same, never with a smile or a friendly face and always with an abrupt tone. Its as if you are such an inconvenience. Why do these people work in an environment when customer service is so important but clearly they have no skills in this. Just to mention one specific problem of many I have encountered: Although I always leave additional time before collecting repeat prescriptions, on numerous occasions I have been told it is not ready and to come back in the afternoon. When I politely urge them to look again they grudgingly find the prescription, clearly displaying they couldn't be bothered in the first place - no apology is given. I have experienced this on many occasion and heard this happening to other people. Some of these customers are very frail and elderly and they are told to come back when it is most likely unnecessary.
