Not enough people on the tills. People collecting prescriptions seem to be given priority over others waiting. I asked a gentleman from pharmacy if he would serve me and he just ignored me and walked away. His young assistant who was trying to cope with a long queue did apologise to me.

It seems this pharmacy operates a just in time supply system. They get deliveries every wednesday but apparently keep no stock of very commonly used medications. It takes at least a week every time to fill my prescription from my sending a request to the surgery. My last prescription apparently 'supply problems' meant they couldn't fill one medication on my prescription with no suggestion of when they could. I conclude from this that they only use one supply service, and NEVER seek stock from other pharmacies to fill prescriptions on time as they should. Shockingly bad, I would advise every patient at the surgery next door to look at any other pharmacy to fill their prescription.

Unfortunately I have been let down so many times. The tablet I have to take is a specific make ,sometimes they get it sometimes not. I am unable to take any other make of this tablet so every month for me is like a Russian roulette of whether they have got it . Over Xmas I was told they I had to take a different tablet ,which unfortunately as I told them I couldn't take . So over Xmas I just took some old tablets I had. I am now going in again to see if they have the correct tablets. Fingers crossed !!!! I think I will try a different pharmacy. I know they are busy but sometimes they are quite abrupt and unhelpful.
