Since the new pharmacist started waiting times have increased so much. It really is frustrating as the last one was so much quicker so it shows it can be done. The staff can be quite rude and no smile on their face. Definitely wouldn't recomend to any one

My daughter attended the chemist at 17.30pm on Friday 10th May 2019 to collect her prescription, after work however the doors were locked and when they did open the locked door to let one lady in my daughter was told they are not letting anybody else in tonight! The shop does not close until 18.00 and this is totally unacceptable as my daughter will now be without her medication until after the weekend! I have to say I have been in this chemist twice this week to collect owing medication for my husband which has still not arrived in stock and yesterday after a visit to my GP the chemist did not have my own medication in stock! I have to say I have noticed this chemist is becoming busier and busier, I always find the staff very friendly and helpful but I am aware that they have recently lost hours 40 in terms of staffing and therefore the staff that remain are supposed to work with less staff and cover the shortfall which is totally unacceptable! What is going on I have never known a chemist lock it’s doors and not let customers in! They are providing a service to this community! *

Good morning..... I have had the unfortunate displeasure of having to visit this pharmacy on no less than 5 occasions in the last week to try and submit a prescription for medication i require to take to manage an ongoing condition. I live in newton but have to work in warrington meaning I am limited to where I can go to get my meds to ensure I get to work on time. I am continually frustrated when I go to submit my prescription only to be told 'really sorry but the pharmacist isn't in yet' or 'sorry but the pharmacist is running late' . I fully appreciate things can happen outside of a working life on occasion but not 5 times in a row that is verging on ridiculous. As suppose to this issue being tackled by whomever is in charge to ensure the pharmacist is available it is left to the really helpful staff on the counter to deal with the backlash and frustrations of residents who just want to get there meds sorted. Some being in alot worsestate than I and often using very choice language. It is not the fault of the staff who are in on time doing there best to help in a situation that can be avoided with management simply ensuring there pharmacist understands the obligation they are under to get there on time. Regrettably I may have to try another pharmacy adding alot more time and inconvenience to myself and my work. And it would be a shame not to be able to visit a pharmacy where most of your staff are genuinely passionate about there work and want to help people with literally there hands tied. Sort it out please
