Having visited the Morrison's pharmacy this week, I have felt compelled to share what a lovely experience I had.
I had a skin issue on my leg for a week and decided to pop in to ask for some advice on how to treat it and try and resolve. I have a negative history when dealing with any person who gives advise on medical matters so was naturally apprehensive and anxious....
However, I spoke to a lady. WOW - what a empathetic and understanding person. She provided confidential information and asked me to go into the Private Consulting room and even got the pharmacist to come and have a look. She seemed to understand my anxiousness and reluctance to visit any medical profession and was respectful of that. The advice she gave me and also what I need to do, including repercussions if not done, was said to me in a way I could understand. Her knowledge of medical and conditions of the body showed her competence and I am grateful of that. I would say the advise is on par with what I would have got, if not more than my GP.

I am new to repeat prescriptions. As I gave in my form to the lady serving she addressed me as saying I will have to wait atleast seven days for them to order the product . Bearing in mind I had ran out completely the day before . I have just this morning been in to sort out my prescription when the locum had informed me it still hadn't arrived. It has now been 8 days and I have already broken down twice in this time as I haven't been able to get my anti depressants on time. The locum then rang up to see why the prescription hadnt arrived yet and informed him they could not get it until march. so I was just wondering why the lady didn't ring up when I first asked and then I would have been Able to sort out either new prescription with a doctor or get emergency supply. I feel this issue needs to be addressed as this lady isn't doing the best ability of her job by flogging people off like that. Thanks for reading please inform me of any actions taken. | ||||||

Recently going though changes I have been to my gp who only gave me advice about hrt and the risks of cancer this has made me really scared and nervous I visited the pharmacy on the 18th I had a great chat to the pharmacist who told me about isoflavones boron in the diet the role of vitamin d b12 as I have achy fatigued bones, and also told me about foods that contain or help boost hormones thanks again your 10 min chat was better and more informed than my GP who only seemed to offer hrt as a solution | ||||||
