My deputy manager has been without Citalopram for 5 days. Asda said they had sent the repeat prescription to her surgery the sugery said it was never received. Today my deputy contacted her GP and they faxed an emergency prescription over, the pharmacy said they never received it, they were asked to ring her surgery to confirm that she could have the urgent prescription and refused when asked what she should do, my deputy was told to go to the drop centre. I have advised my deputy to make a complaint and to contact CQC to report this pharmacy and pharmacist. Their duty of care is appalling and their assistance is very substandard leaving my deputy in tears and without her medication which she was starting to get withdrawal symptoms from. My deputy is still at the pharmacy at 18.03 her surgery are faxing the prescription again, but this is a poor service from Asda pharmacy. Do not use this pharmacy if you can can use another. The date and time of this unfortunate incident was 04/11/15 @ 17.45. Now maybe Asda might take some action over this incredibly poor service at their store, with the date and time they can pinpoint the pharmacist on duty.
